2022-2023 Paraprofessional Pre-planning Training
Paraprofessionals will report to their respective home schools on the first day of school, August 8, 2022. Unless otherwise specified below, Paraprofessionals will remain at their home schools throughout pre-planning.
There will only be a one-day training during pre-planning for specifically identified members of the Paraprofessional Unit. Training will take place on August 9, 2022. Training will be conducted face to face during regular contractual hours from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour duty free lunch on their own. Paraprofessionals will be required to attend the training in its entirety. Identified Paraprofessionals will report to their home schools before training on August 8th; report to the training site on August 9th; and report back to their home schools for August 10th-12th.
The Exceptional Education and Student Services (EESS) Department will be providing one day of professional development for paraprofessionals in ESE programs on August 9th based on program assignment. The sessions will begin at 8:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. Lunch will be on your own. Please use the chart below to determine the appropriate session you should attend. If you have any questions that cannot be answered by your teacher or the ESE Lead teacher at your school, please contact the EESS Department at 348-7800.

• Student Focused Paraprofessionals:
