Coronavirus Update

These are very unique circumstances that we are going through as a city and as a nation.  DTU is working closely with the Duval County School Board to make the best decisions for the employees and the families we serve.  DTU is working to protect the working conditions and rights of all the employees we represent.  DTU has not sent out any updates in the last week because things are changing hourly.  These changes are being made based on many factors including directives from the state, local and national governments.  The leaders of the school board and DTU are working to make the best decisions to keep everyone safe based on government directives.  Please check your email often to stay abreast of the changes as they happen.  If you have any questions you can contact DTU via email or telephone (904-396-4063).

Out of an abundance of caution we are cancelling all in person DTU legal appointments.  If you have a legal issue or legal question you can contact DTU attorneys via email at [email protected] and [email protected].  Please make sure you include your name, school and contact information.  One of our attorneys will contact you to assist.  We will let you know when it is practical to begin scheduling in person appointments again.

All professional development classes have been postponed until further notice.  If you have any questions you can contact Carol Gamble-Buckman at [email protected].
