March 22, 2021 (Afternoon Update)
UPDATE: Federally supported vaccination sites in Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, and Orlando will continue offering first dose vaccinations between March 24, 2021 and April 7, 2021. Each site will be able to administer 500 first dose Pfizer vaccines per day.
The federally supported site in Jacksonville is located at the Gateway Shopping Mall. This is the only site that will have the extended dates for the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Also, appointments for covid vaccines can be made at retail locations in the area such as CVS, Walmart, Sams, Winn Dixie, and Publix.
If you would like to get a covid vaccine during the workday, notify your administrator or supervisor and coverage will be arranged. DCPS has committed to working with employees to allow them to get vaccines during the workday.
