The flu season is upon us. Contracting the flu this year has been projected to be of particular concern because the state of Florida and our entire country is still battling to control COVID-19.
There are many reasons to get an influenza (flu) vaccine each year. DCPS Employee Wellness has partnered with both Publix and Southeastern Grocers (Winn-Dixie) to provide you with convenient access to the flu vaccine.
You will need to provide your insurance card before receiving the shot. In addition, each participating employee will receive a $10 gift card.
This year employees have two options available.
Option 1: All Publix Onsite Flu Shot Clinics
Dates: September 14 – October 30, 2020
Option 2: Winn-Dixie Drive-Up Flu Shot Clinic
Date: September 26, 2020
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Duval County School Board District Office Parking Lot
